Can't solve my choppy Liveview playback (recorded video, direct to disk is fine) no matter what I do.
Current system:
Intel NUC 11 - NUC11PAHi7
64GB Ram
i7-1165G7
SSD
8x Axis Q3518-LVE at full resolution / 30FPS (8.3MP)
4x Axis A8105-E at 20fps (8.3MP)
7x Mobotix c26 (1.2MP)
Running substreams (640x480) for the Axis cameras.
CPU sits at roughly 35%. Same setup on a monster Ryzen setup - CPU at 6%.
* Liveview BI client, playback is choppy (e.g., smooth for a few seconds then screen freezes, and restarts smooth for a few seconds, freezes, etc.). I've been through all the FAQs.
* I tried NxWitness, xProtect and Synology Surveillance Station on my nas (lowered powered than both systems listed above) and I get smooth liveview playback.
* Really don't want to switch away from BI - but this issue is absolutley driving me insane. Have literally spent years trying to solve the issue.
I see others with the same issue but have never seen a resolution. Has anyone had a similar experience where you were able to solve? What did you do?
