longer alert storage

this sounds like a pretty basic question, and I have searched everywhere and it all talks about storage space, I have HEAPS... however my alerts only go babk 10 hours, if I look at a previos day, there are none there? what am I missing. I know its someting simple .

Post up screen grabs of your settings for New, Stored etc

ok, looks like it was that, my alert location was set to 1gb, and checking the folder it was bang on that (1gb in size).. so I increased to 1000gb, pretty sure that may just fix my problem

You should also check how the other folders are configured.

100% brother, onto it appericate the point in the right direction, it was doing my head in.. im also using deepstack and in the alerts tab it seems to store the alerts that do not result in a positive dection, so now i need to work out how to not stire those, not a huge issue, just is a little messy ... thanks again mate.
