looking at picking up this camera SD52C225U-HNI from andy

Before i do, i'm looking for some input, i'm currently a hikvsion user.

this camera SD52C225U-HNI

seems to have all the features i want, ptz, auto tracking, sound, starlight. I only like the low profile (dome) ones not the pendulum ones.
also it's going outside in my eves, so it will be protected from the weather.

i have watched a review on here it seems good.

here's my questions.
is there a newer version?

is there one with a vari focal lens?

i have searched but i'm having a hard time with models and what models andy can get?

I ordered one yesterday from Andy also can't wait to get it! Will be buying 2 or 3 more after I test it.. sounds like a great camera.. seeing it can do 60 frames per second and all the other great features.

You are right, it needs to be protected from the weather. I think it was designed for the indoors. However it will work with proper protection.

This camera has a feature called Face Detection, I wonder if this feature allows naming the faces like mail man or brother or someone you know.. that would be cool.
