Hello I am looking for a DiY kit that has the following:

wifi works with blue iris so network ip,..communicates with router..saves to comp
audio
4k or 1080
plug in constant power

Many of the ones ive been looking at seem to encrypt the videos to an SD card from which it is read.....

If anyone has any direction they can give it would be apreciated.

Questions:
  • Indoor or outdoor?
  • Budget?
  • By "plug in constant power" do you mean "POE"? or camera streams over Wi-Fi with a wall-wart for power?
  • A form factor preferred (turret, bullet, cube, dome)?

Indoor budget is any amount ....

Plug in ac constant as continued motion drains a battery quickly imo ....especialy if I am away for a long time on buisiness etc.


Form factor...the smallest hidden camera possible....

It's not ONVIF but will stream to Blue Iris or VLC, no cloud needed, Wi-Fi only, can record to SD card, available in white or black. Remove the base and hide in a box, book, flower pot, etc. comes with a UL-listed wall wart.
