I am afraid I posted this message as a conversation, which it clearly is not. Sorry for that.
I want to buy a camera like the NEST camera, but I prefer it from Dahua or Hikvision.
I have already spent considerable time studying both web sites, but it seems an impossible task.
I want 1080, motion detection, possibility to push message of intrusion to an iPhone, recording on my iMac or other computer.
I am absolutely new to this field, so any advice would be fantastic and greatly appreciated.
I also read the VPN for noobs, but that also leaves me with a slight headache. Are there any books, or good web sites I can consult ?
What supplier would you advise ? I live in Europe.
