Looking for camera to capture backyard play area from 100 feet away

We're having a playground put in (slides/towers/etc.) about 100 feet away from the house in our backyard.

I'd like to put a camera on the house that can capture it well enough at 100 feet away in daylight. I'd prefer a PoE camera for easy integration with the rest of my cameras.

I’d probably go with the 5442 Z4 at that distance for overview with a little flexibility for FOV

Would a 4K camera add value in this case since it's only needed during daylight hours?

It wouldn't to my eye. It would only double the rate at which your fill up your storage.

Maybe a little , if you can get the FOV you want with the right lens. You need to decide how wide a FOV you want and the level of detail you need at the playground. The camera suggested allows you to adjust the zoom and therefore FOV. Don’t get hung up on megapixels.
