I'm in need of help. I have been fighting with several doctors for over 2 years about getting my hips replaced for avascular necrosis. Social security and the govt have all failed me, so needless to say my budget is about non-existent. I'm close to surgery but will be leaving my shop for maybe a month and my truck was robbed last week and a truck was stolen in July from my lot. I got a Night Owl Dvr-f6b-81 4 camera, 1tb system from a friend but he lost the password and his ex is playing games. According to Night Owl it is too old to use the password reset tool they have. Is it possible to change the firmware to an aftermarket open source program? How could that be accomplished? Any way to reset the password, Night Owl has been no help?
Any help would be a lifesaver. After almost 15 years of medical hell and a divorce, I cant lose what little I have left.
