For the purpose of composite video agreed since we've moved beyond that, but for correct frame-rates, sub-stream resolutions and filtering it does.
Do not upgrade, if you do not know what you are doing, you will brick your camera.
Yes they are model specific.
As was said in another post if it is not broke do not fix it.
It's not broke but its not correct either. I had sent a PM to Andy which provided the cam and he said to post here, probably for a reminder, for when he gets his hands on it. Thanks for the reply.
