looking to set up an 8 ch system

Hey guys, I joined this forum to get some advice and experiences. I'm wanting to set up 4 cameras, outdoors. But i want room for 8 cameras. I've built PCs before, and I have plenty of network experience. However, I want some PROs and CONs of different setups, including different brands vs building your own.

If you decide on a pcnvr dont build it. You can buy a dell optiplex haswell from the outlet for way less than you can build a pc with the same specs.
