Looking to upgrade two of my cameras

I have two cameras at v5.4.5 build 170124 and two newer cameras that came with v5.5.0 build 170725

All my cameras were purchased through a Chinese vendor off eBay. all have AAWR in the Serial No.

So if I have been reading correctly, I should be downloading the firmware from the Hikvision International site? File should be IPC_G1_ML_STD_5.5.0_170725.zip

Just want to make sure I'm going through the right site, last thing I need is to brick my cameras.

It depends on what model your (unspecified) cameras are.
G1 series (non-fisheye) camera firmware can be downloaded here : DOWNLOAD PORTAL
and here : Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co. Ltd.

They are DS-2CD2355FWD-I. Turret Cameras

Should I be looking on the International site for the firmware?

ThanX, now all my camera have the same firmware.

I was having an issue with the two older firmware cameras not dumping an event jpg. Now all 4 cameras are.

Hopefully you do not experience the problems encountered by other posters in this forum with the v5.5 firmware.

Only thing so far was for me to clear the Internet Exploder cache.

The two cameras that arrived last week with v5.5 have been solid.
