Good morning.
Have run into an issue trying to sort through. I have coming to me a Lorex NVR. I am in the professional series so not a lot of options at this point. Should have chosen more consumer Fusion type solutions, but I digress. I am trying to add/replace a doorbell camera to the N884A644B NVR. It shows nothing compatible with that model NVR.
3 Cameras already installed and working - Lorex LNB9252B
I am curious if I can connect a POE AP through the NVR to create a wireless connection to a Lorex 4K Wired Video Doorbell B862AJDB-E and have the NVR see it?
Home Network -> Enterprise Switch -> Lorex NVR ->POE Enterprise AP -> Lorex Doorbell camera.
I can make the networking work. My question is can I get these things to talk to one another and load the camera into the NVR configuration and use the app as designed?
I have a BlueIris instance running as a VM on my server if that might be a better end goal solution. I was trying to repurpose my server and shed the BlueIris requirement on the server by going with the stand alone NVR.
Thank you in advance
