Hi anyone help. Iv installed a hikvision cam kit for a friend of mine and he has lost the password to the dvr, I was a previous installer for my old company but at my new company I only deal with fire alarms, would hikvision still deal with me if I sent all the details off to them ? Via SADP tool

I believe that would depend on whether the kit was from an 'Authorised distributor'.
Best to try them and see how they respond.
Alternatively, if they don't -
The fixes depending on the model numbers.
