LPR Camera location conundrum

With the angle in the street and how it curves around your home, can't you just sell the home and buy one across the street, which would afford you better viewing angles in both directions? LPR is more than a hobby, it's a lifestyle! ;-)

Ha ha yes!! That would be such a perfect angle! Maybe I convince my neighbor to allow me to setup there. Or, there's a light post in the perfect spot across the street, maybe I just use that somehow! LOL

Check out the Ubiquiti LAN radios. All the neighbor would have to provide is local power to the LAN radio and the IP camera. The data would then be sent wirelessly across the street to your LAN radio, and into your home network and Blue Iris.

One incentive for a neighbor assisting would be to allow them limited user access to Blue Iris so that they can view the camera they had allowed on their property.

Do the burglar dressed in black around the house you want cameras at. Make sure your cameras catch it, and then talk your neighbor into cams LOL
