LTS SECURITY CAMERAS

Does anyone have any experience with LTS? I was told by them that they are just re- branded Hikvision cameras at a lower cost for small lower budget projects. They said all the firmare is handled in their NJ office and that they have an extensive support team.

@Tundra5156 yes LTS cameras are re-branded Hikvision cameras. Yes, they generally sell at a discount to Hikvision USA cameras, same model. The firmware is Hikvision's with minor modifications (e.g., showing LTS brand instead of Hikvision) so I am not sure what they mean by 'firmware is handled in their NJ office'. If the implication is that is somehow better or more secure or fundamentally different than Hikvision, the answer to that is no. I like the cameras a lot, I have used both hikvision and LTS (more LTS than hikvision) and havnt had many problems. I have had a bad camera here and there but I have had bad cameras with all oem or major suppliers
