LV-PB912F4C - Cannot get into Inactive mode

Hello Everyone!

After exhausting all attempts at resetting my cameras to inactive (lost the passwords as the old NVR died and I did not have the passwords.) I am able to Update the firmware on these cameras (LV-PB912F4C) to the latest available (5.4.83_181011).

After reading attempts from another poster with a similar issue, I got the firmware updated following the steps provided by alastairstevenson but unfortunately I cannot for the life of me get them to "Inactive." I can even downgrade them between 83/81 etc. but they will not go into Inactive.

As soon as they get to the Completed file transfer, I close TFTPserver (as it will not say Update completed successfully), SADP shows them having the new firmware but not in an Inactive state. Any help would be appreciated.

Once/if you gain shell access. execute paramReset cmd. This will change camera state from active to inactive without restoring anything else.

Thank you for all the help! The command was resetParam on this firmware but they were set to inactive and adopted by my new NVR! Thank you again!

Glad to hear, sorry for command misspell, i did not use it for quite some time
