Hopefully I am posting this in the right section. Has anyone "hid"a camera somewhere on a mailbox to capture plates as they drive by? I want it hidden because you know how people are if they see a camera they will destroy it or deface it especially if its by the road. I know theirs no perfect way to hide it but looking for ideas on how to do it and what looks the best thanks.

Many here have cameras on their mailbox.
People are oblivious and if you paint it to match, most probably wouldn't see it.

Someone in the Blue Iris group on FB made inserts to go inside of his PVC mailbox post that would allow him to place cameras inside. He was limited to fixed focal lengths, and couldn't really adjust them, but it's something.
He made one for the end of the post, as well, to point back towards the house.
