yes, please return it back unfolded.
information about message count gives information is this person is newbie (bot maybe) or someone with longer experience on the forum.
Also location is sometimes important in context of someone problem.

Also Please optimize skin for mobile variant...
Unread Thread list is not optimized for vertical space used.
it can be minimized by one even two lines per thread without any problems...
move message count in thread on line up (after group name), remove empty lines..
the group name is duplicated in second & last line...

The sidebar now appears every time the "What's New" tab is clicked and has to be omitted manually......every time....which is annoying, IMO. The old software didn't open the sidebar whenever "What's New" was opened.


EDIT: 10/3 @ 0556 CDT: You fixed it it! Sidebar does NOT open every time when "What's New" is clicked THANKS, MIKE!!!!!

Fully aware you are still working on the upgrades.... FWIW, the formatting toolbar is greyed out when composing posts on Brave browser (Version 1.70.123 Chromium: 129.0.6668.89 (Official Build) (64-bit)).

Mozilla does not have that issue

Happy to hear about the updates, @Mike . Two small observations from the iOS mobile view:

• The current logo used for the iOS PWA home screen icon is distorted and should probably just be the circle logo without the text. (By the way, using "Add to Home Screen" on iOS allows for push notifications.)

• The round "up" and "down" buttons look squished vertically (intentional?), especially because they appear next to the circular "new reply" button:

I changed it back to the original as you and many others have requested! Thanks for your input, as well as everyone else's. I'm going as fast as I can!

I'm also still tweaking everything (including the dark style) so expect to see some more minor changes, plus I'm updating all of our IPCT Tools and soon will be adding a new one that has been in the works for 2 years! I'll get into that later on

Arjun popped up in my memory bank and am curious to know if he is still OK. He was heavily active here for over 6 years. I even bought my first REAL Dahua camera from him here on the forums about 4 years ago.
This may be one of his kids.

Are you able to modify the iOS PWA push notification title to remove the redundancy and shorten it to one line? Currently it says, "New alert at IP Cam Talk from IP Cam Talk" but "New alert from IP Cam Talk" would be nicer. Thanks!

The update is ongoing, we are currently updating all addons (including all custom IPCT Tools), etc. The work should last about another week.
