In blue iris , there used to be somewhere to mask off a area , so motion in that area would not trigger ? Is it still in the program ? Thanks

Yes, the way to setup motion detection has changed a long time ago with many improvements including multiple zones...now instead of masking, simply dont include that area in any zone...so basically you select the area you WANT to detect motion in rather than mask the areas you dont...

For what it's worth, I sent an email to the developer with a future suggestion to make the window for applying masks larger with higher resolution so more accuracy could be obtained in applying the masks. I noted that I am not sure how much the masking is tied in to the resolution of the cameras and the actual motion detection, but thought it was something that could be considered for future upgrades.
