Maximum PTZ Camera supported by NVR/DVR

Hi Guys;

I'm new on this forum, i would like to ask you guys, if you any idea how many PTZ camera can be supported by a NVR/DVR. The NVR/DVR has only One(1) RS485 Port.

Im using HIKIVSION brand of CCTV.

It can support as many PTZs as channels de units supports.

16ch unit? Then it supports 16 PTZs. And so on. Only one RS485 port is needed for all of them.
