Hello everyone, and by the way I love the forum because here we learn a lot more than anywhere else, small question for the pro because I'm not sure, I have 2 cam dahua hdw3541tpm-as that I like because compare to my reolink before i am in cadillac ;-) i have a microsd card in each of the cams, i ordered an nvr that i have not yet received my question is but that i configure nvr is it going to record automatically on the nvr or must I remove the microsd in the cam before? because I want to record on the nvr
 
You can have both the NVR and the microsd card recording at the same time. No issues there.

Well then you could pull the card or disable the card in the firmware. Most folks like to have at least the camera record motion alerts to the card as a backup in case something happens to the NVR.
