Hello folks,

Wanted to share a little device I found to be really useful when I'm playing back recorded videos. I got tired using keyboard shortcuts to step through frames. Found this device called XPPen Mini Keydial ACK05. You can download the driver, which includes a small application that allows you to map the dial and keys to almost anything, including keyboard shortcuts. Haven't had the device for that long, but build quality seems good for the price, and the app is simple to use.

Amazon link:
For my use: I mapped the dial to the step backward and step forward shortcuts. This makes it feel like you're scrubbing through the video. The dial has a nice clicky feel as well. I mapped the keys to shortcuts such as: arrow keys and play/stop. This allows me to navigate through record video clips.

Hope a Blue Iris future update will include shortcuts to slow video to 1/4x.

Hope someone finds this useful.
