So it works with 12v? Not all is lost I have bought this thing, you can see picture in the other thread how I mounted. So I am still using eithernet cable

Alternative would be to request a new poe board, on v2 it's easy to access but on v1 I didn't find access to it, but I didn't look for it hard enough.

I have a V2 also and a non POE camera I could use one of these things on so I ordered 3 of them. Thanks again for the help.

One caveat with these injectors. With different cables/length you can get different results related to ptz function. On my 100 feet old 5e cable, cam would lose last position after reboot eventhough with direct poe connection it worked fine. On the other hand with 75 feet cat 6 it works great with that injector.

My longest run is 50ft and I only use Cat 6 so hopefully I will be good to go for all scenarios.
