Mini PTZ SD card slot

Dear all,

does anyone one has a clue where to find the SD card slot on the 2016 version of the Huisun mini PTZ camera. I did remove the front cover and yes it looks like there is a slot, but ...it does not take a card as it is not a slot.
i suspect it is somewhere near the motors, but, where? Monica did send a photo of the first gen camera...

I didn't try it, but looked like microsd slot in there.

Thx, that's what I thought as well, at least on my camera the slot is not open to accept a micro SD

Maybe it's an option, I have second one en-route will double check.

Did your first second gen camera have a slot to take an SD card? With me it looks the same. The slot is indented, but not open.

How did you remove the front ?

Just pull it ?

Mine seems tightly fixed on.

There are two tabs top/bottom. I used plastic pry tool to lift it up, but it looks like it may break easily, not very fond of this design.

Can you tell how did you manage to remove the plate? I only got it once but now stuck with the top tab. I first removed the bottom which is easy.

Does v2 have working SD slot card ? (other then the front one which seems to be closed)

yes! it's inside. the one under the front cover is a dummy.

use a paper clip in that little hole top front to get the cover off.
then remove the 4 screws holding the front on to open it up and expose the real card slot
