Damn, does the POTS still exist?I remember having 2400 baud modems back in the day and being jealous of everyone with 9600 baud modems when playing text-based games...then five or six years later, paying $200 for a 28.8K modem on an ISA card.
I probably still have an external 56K modem buried in an old laptop bag somewhere.
Looked into a new fax line for work. POTS solution would've been $22 + a per fax charge per month.Not sure. I think all the carriers have been phasing out their copper infrastructure.

Second, do not stack them on top of each other. Stacking them may overheat them. Clean off the air vents and leave them unobstructed.
