I wonder...is there anything to put inside the Bat Home Box to make them...happier to hang out? Or is it just hit & miss if they start to reside or not? They fly around and suck up bugs by the hundreds. The IR attracts the bugs, and the bats come in to get the bugs.
I have seen them around here a few times. they would fly inches from the dog and cats, but never ran into anything.
I put up a bat box, but never seen anything use it. I was hoping they would feast on the mosquitos that are fierce around here.
I had a electrostatic bug zapper up for a ling time. The pile of bugs under it would pile up at night, and disappear during the day.
I do know they like a cool spot. I tried a couple spots over about 10 years, but never had any "leavings" to let me know it was inhabited.I wonder...is there anything to put inside the Bat Home Box to make them...happier to hang out? Or is it just hit & miss if they start to reside or not?
