Loans are falling through is what is happening. Lenders are getting tougher on applicants. Read end of last year and beginning of this year around 20% of loans were getting rejected. Happened to a friend of mine, two weeks before closing the buyers mortgage company backed out...we found out this was happened alot..It's coming....
Personally, I would not mind one bit another 2008 style housing crash. Maybe good opportunity to pick up some rental properties. Also, would like to do a small home expansion project but waiting for material and labor costs to trend down.

I have gotten that too but not only on his post, others too. My guess is this Forums software is trying to communicate with GitHub, maybe an add-on of some sort? Thinking if DDoS is hitting this site there will be bandwidth slowdowns that cause this? I am just guess though...

We are getting to the point of unplugging, being in retirement...as much as I have enjoyed this Forum and the variety of news brought to it, it is starting to feel unhealthy. That is, I really should be focusing on the joy of retiring more and let the world be the world. If you go back in the world's history, nothing has really changed. IMO. Evil is still a huge driving force to be reckon with.
As much as I complain about what is going on, I have Zero power to change any of it. Prayer is the only power given to us for those of faith.
We will still need a phone and phone scams will definitely increase, thanks to AI. Even to the point of hearing someone's voice you recognize, created by AI and being scammed into something evil.
Not saying bye yet, but need to really cut down on my news input

My dad is 89 years old and I've caught him getting stressed about the situation the US is in. Especially when Brandon was snoozing in the WH. I pretty much told him the same thing. Nothing he can do about it and to lay off the news. I can see how a lot of people get stressed about all of this. As they say "focus on the things you can control, leave the other things to other people, God or the universe to deal with".Good ole trusted AI
