More Aurora August 27 and 28, 2024

Didn't expect anything, but noticed on sky cams.
Ended up at KP5 and closer than 200 miles away.

These videos are stunning to watch. Where I live, there are many days of the year when I look up at the sky in the early morning hours and see various shades of brown . . . as in dirt.

Very cool. Yeah, too much ambient light here to see much of anything in the sky at night.

From where I live I've only seen it once in my life during the big event earlier this year. I agree stunning, especially when you get the corona effect by being near the atmosphereric impact site example 5th picture down in this newspaper article from earlier this year containing the UK event:
