Morning review file of triggered activity

In the morning I’d like to review one file with all the triggered activity that occurred the prior night without going through all of the dead footage and I still want a continuous full copy as backup. Other than defining the same IP as two cameras with different recording options (as below) is there any other method that I can use to do that?
