motion detect/push notification doesn't work on new setup NVR-104MH-C / IPC-T262H-MU

Hello everyone,

this is my first post and trying to get some help with my new hikvision camera setup. so far everything seems to work and can record continuously and playback is also working. however the only main security feature we need is the push notification when there is motion detected which is not working. could anyone help to shade some light on how to troubleshoot this issue please.

so far I've below configured
Event/Basic Event: enable motion detection and have the entire viewing area drawn and have arming schedule set to all days and linkage method set to notify surveilance center.
Storage/Schedule settings set to continuous all days and have also tried Event but it doesn't make any different.

so just curious does this model support motion detection? and how do I troubleshoot this problem? I feel like this problem is related to the NVR because I have 4 camera connected to it and none of them work.

Every model supports motion. Where do you want push notifications? If its hik connected is it added via cloud or locally?

Notifications dont work locally only via cloud and firebase api
 
Hi Trempa, thank you for your help, now that might be my problem. i'm just trying to get some notification from hik-connect on my iphone but so far nothing seem to work. from memory I added the NVR manually to hik-connect app on my iphone, so i think this might be what you refer to as locally.
 
ok just an fyi for anyone that might come across similar problem. this has been resolved by enable platform access then add NVR into hikvision cloud. it's ashamed that we must use their cloud service to enable notification on phone app but it is what it is.
