Move NVR to Second Router on different Subnet

So I have the great displeasure of being a Fios customer which just about forces me to use their crappy router so I can get tech support. I followed some instructions to set up a second router behind the fios router on a seperate subnet (192.168.2.1 vs. 192.168.1.1) to use the router's VPN capabilities so I can see my cameras remotely via gdmss. I'm guessing I need to change the ip address of the nvr (dahua 5216-4Ks2) but the config tool doesn't seem to work. I changed the nvr address to 192.168.2.15 using the config tool but now it doesn't appear no matter which router I'm connected to. Any insights would be greatly appreciated
