Moved NVR now cameras wont work

Our NVR was recently moved to a different location in the house and it works fine except for all 4 cameras that are connected to it. The NVR is a DS-7604NI-k1/4P.

All 4 cameras now show no link, I think this is because I didn't plug the cameras back into their original ports and instead switched them, I have tried reconnecting to different ports but no luck. The cameras do seem to be detected as they show up on the SADP tool and the lights are blinking at the back of the NVR.

On the web camera management it is showing offline(username or password error) on all 4 cameras.

Im not sure how to get them working again, any help/advice would be appreciated.

Yep, each port assigns a camera, so you can try to figure out the right combination of ports. Try one camera in port 1 and wait a few minutes and if that doesn't work then try the next camera in port 1, and repeat.

If that doesn't work then you may need to factory reset and start it up like a new install.

Someone else may come along with a different solution.

Do your cameras all have the same username and password or did you set each one differently?
If they're all the same the NVR should pick them up.
You may need to just redo the username and password on the NVR side.

i can help hang on

oh wait it's a Hikvision? maybe i cannot
on my Dahua i can go to the Cameras tab, and click on Device search,,,,and it lists a table of what it finds ( cameras) by IP and port# etc
then I manually add them by clicking on them and selecting add.

Thanks for your suggestion I tried this but unfortunately it didn't work and if nothing else works I will do a factory reset

I'm not sure about the usernames but the cameras seem to have a different password to the nvr which I don't know

That's the likely cause of the problem.

Suggestion :
Use SADP to find the IP address of each camera. You presumably will have to connect the PC to an unused NVR PoE port, and connect one camera at a time.
In the NVR web GUI, under System | Camera Management, note down the IP addresses that each channel is assigned to use.
Re-connect each camera into the port number that has the same IP address as you found for the camera.

If you didn't change any passwords or reset anything to defaults, all should connect OK.

Hi thanks for your suggestion I tried this but only 1 of the cameras had the same Ip address as the ports the others seemed to have different last two digits.

I connected the camera which did have the same IP address to one of the ports to the correct port with the same IP address however it is still showing no link and the same error (username or password is incorrect)

Ok, so you'll need to change the camera IP address to match what's being used by the NVR PoE channel the camera is connected to.
As you know the camera password, you can use SADP to do that.
And for good measure, on the NVR PoE channel set the password to the known password of the camera.
