My main rack PC is screwed. Windows will not boot . I can not install Windows again for some odd reason or repair the old install without errors. I have been screwing around for a few days now and just said ," F the rack pc for now"

I have a Beelink n150 coming that I will install Blueiris on only .

Question #1 if I can get access to my old Blueiris files. Can I somehow transfer my settings to the new install .

Thx, vandyman

I kind of figured that.
I guess I will have to play around with dahua config app to find my IP addresses again for the cams.

Thx
FWIW, I have mine written down (I need all the help I can get),;)

Yeah, I'm sure I have them written down somewhere. LOL
Not sure what Router you have but you can check your ARP Table...there are several ways to get IP addresses...

In Command Prompt (type CMD in Windows Start Menu) you can type:
arp -a
to get your list...but it is only a list of the subnet your PC is on. As you see above the Interface is my VLANs which are on different subnets than my PC...so the Router gives the total ARP table...

So, I know you are abandoning your Rack PC but do you have an SSD or M.2 that Windows was on? They can get corrupted and need to be replaced. Hard Drives you can just low level format, have not had much luck in savaging SSDs...

Thanks all .
All good now with new pc.
Using a;

GMKtec Mini PC Intel i5-12450H(Turbo 4.4 GHz) 32GB DDR4 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD Intel i225v Mini Computers, USB 3.2, Type-C/WiFi 6, BT5.2, RJ45 2.5G/ 4K Triple Display Desktop PC.

Using the WiFi for basic traffic.
Using the Ethernet port for a vlan to a dedicated 8 port poe switch .

As for my router I am using an Asus AX88u pro.

Last week, I had an old mini PC die (it was 11+ yrs old) that was running Blue Iris, and I plugged its SSD into a different machine and loaded its registry to get Blue Iris's settings out of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Perspective Software. So yes, you can pull BI settings off another machine if necessary.

Proxmox Virtual Environment is based on Debian Linux.
BlueIris runs in Windows, and Windows runs as VM in my Proxmox host PC.
CodeProject runs in docker inside another VM of Debain Linux.

Backup/restore Windows VM or Linux VM takes 2-17 minutes depends on file size. Then I can restore the backup in about the same amount of time.
So have you tried CP in Blue Iris?
