I plan to have a BI host at the site of my install managing the cameras. I'd like to have multiple (2, maybe 3) different remote hosts with the web UI always on the screen. Is this possible / has anyone done this? Any issues / things to look out for in such a configuration would be appreciated.

The Web UI ( by default) does time out after a preset period.
There may be an answer forthcoming about how to circumvent that....please standby,,,,:)

The timeout in UI3 is easily eliminated. In the UI3 "UI Settings" section just set the "Idle Timeout" to zero. It stays on screen all day on my laptop that way, no problem.

you dont say? dammit,,,,ALL!!!! i coulda had my kitchen TV streaming all this time but i gave up with the browser time out.....

I used to have better luck with my tablets showing the UI3 screen full time. For the past couple of months however, the tablets return to the devices "home" page after a while. I' pretty sure I checked the screen timeout when it first started, but I guess I should check again. The tablets don't turn off (because they are on a charger and set up not to turn the screen off). It's just that the browser is closing. I think I am using firefox on these devices. Perhaps I should go back to chrome or something else.
