Has anyone tried to use many (20+) RTSP streams to a NVR?
Using Onvif cameras or brand private protocols is no problem. But for cameras not Onvif compatible with the (Longse) NVR - as soon as I configure above 15+ RTSP channels the system becomes very slow and at 25+ cameras its almost freezeing.
NVR can handle max 64 channels.
Cameras are typically Avigilon 2mp, Hanwa, Samsung, iPOLiS… up to max 6mp (just 1 or 2 of them). All at 15fps, max 2048 kbit, h264 cameras.
Does RTSP usually drain NVRs cpu power or memory!?
They individually work perfect with the NVR.
