Was he eating insects, ants or something? Was that a woodpecker? i thought he was just cleaning it for you. To get rid of the virus someone had left on it after ringing it. Ha, to funny.

? I thought it was a Downy Woodpecker although I don't specifically see any red on it's head.

Yes, definitely looking for bugs. I'm sure there are some living in the doorbell switch mounting holes or even in the doorbell switch itself.

We have hairy, downy, and other woodpeckers --- with all the dead ash trees there's ample opportunities for all of them.1594175416005.png
