hm. each of the nine sensors including the PTZ part is 2MP (1920 x 1080,) but low-light specs sure look good on paper...

Do you know how much one of those run? I was looking for a PTZ and the specs look awesome. 16MP!! I don't think any of their NVRs can even go that high yet. I've only seen them go up to 12MP?
Please post some more details, possibly in a new thread. I'm sure we're all very interested in night images and any other experiences you may have with this cam!
Based on other products and the listed specs, I would image $1500 to $2500 range for something like that.
Ok some images in night time. First is image from Honor 7 phone at 1/25s shutter speed. Next is all at 1/25 sec and different gain
0. Phone to compare:
1. NO gain, 1/25 sec
2. Gain at 50% 1/25 sec
3.Gain at 100% 1/25 sec
4. Gain at 100% 1/25 sec DNR ON

I would be intersted for images from the 8223. When the 8223 is at the widest angle of view and a person is detected at a long distance, does the autotracking also zoom in the person? If yes, then how much does it zoom in, in order to increase the optical resolution for facial recognition?
Is that the DS-2DP0818Z-D or a different model number?

We had a client interested in one of these and an official Hik reseller quoted us $6087 for it on special order as no one seems to stock them. Got quoted over 10k for the 360 version
