My dvr won't record on 'alarm' schedule.

Hello everyone, I recently changed to "ids-7612huhi-m2/s". For some reason, although I set the motion sensitivity to 20, there are still so many false recordings. So instead of recording at motion detection only, I changed the recording schedule to "alarm and motion" and now it wont record at all. I do see a bell mark on the cctv footage so I believe alarm is working but I have no idea why it wont record at all. Setting it to record when "alarm" only still didnt work. Is there a way to solve this issue?

Also, I guess acusense works great on cars and people. On my dvr, I can see normal recording as blue bars while cars and people as red bars which is extremely convenient. However on my phone app, I see blue bars and red bars as all "events" which makes it extremely hard to distinguish. Would there be a way to see only these cars and people on the phone instead of seeing the whole recorded events in red (which also includes too many false alarms)?

I'm thinking that 'Alarm' is the optional alarm inputs on the back panel. So with nothing connected to them, Alarm and Motion will never trigger.
