Need answer for night vision problem

The attached pic is from a low cost turret(eye ball) type camera. Notice the big bright spot in the center. Anybody know what is the problem.

Welcome to the forum. You cant test a camera by aiming into a box several inches from it...the bright spot is the IR because you are not giving it distance to disperse somewhat...many cameras will have somewhat brighter IR towards the sensor.
