Need battery-powered outdoor camera advice

All... I just purchased a lot. Excavation and site prep has begun. From time-to-time there is valuable equipment left overnight and I have heard that I have people trespassing on the property.

I need suggestions on a decent battery-powered camera that I can mount on trees etc. so I can review any activity in certain areas of my property.

you wont be able to view anything without an internet connection....
 
+1 on the trail cam. They're already built to be weatherproof, camouflaged, have night vision, motion detection, time and date stamp, the whole 9 yards. Some higher-end models allow a cellular comm module to be added later if needed so you view remotely and be notified via text of an event.
