I have 7 cameras currently, four old 3mp dahuas 2015, two old 4mp dahuas 2016 and one new 4mp t5442t from EmpireTech 2022.

All my old Dahuas are VIP vision rebrands and i will slowly upgrade them after the nvr is replaced but they need to work on the new unit for now.

I would like to go to a 16channel PoE from Empire Tech on aliexpress preferably but am struggling with so many options and some listings saying (NONE POE).

Any recommendations appreciated. Thanks.

If any of the old cameras are chinese market cameras, the new nvr will reject them. NONE POE means the nvr does not have a built-in POE switch, i.e. no POE ports, which is what I use. I'd suggest going with a 5xxx series NVR, well worth the added cost over the 4xxx series IMO.

All the old cameras were purchased via Rhinco Tech Australia and are branded VIP Vision. Hopefully they will all work on the new nvr.

Thanks for clearing up the NONE POE, makes sense.

I’ll check out the 5000 series then thanks for the swift reply.
