I just purchased this PTZ camera used from ebay, however the disc that came with it said there should be a power supply included. (There is none!) The disk directions also show a different camera and say it takes 5 volts! Since it is a outdoor PTZ, I highly doubt this is correct. I have searched the internet and cannot find anything on this camera. Can anyone direct me to the installation instructions or tell me the correct Voltage the camera takes? I am guessing 24V AC or 12V DC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
@abbot7Welcome to the forum. That camera is some sort of rebadged foscam (fi8919w)
..likely uses a 12v supply for the outdoor cam....my advice is to return this camera ASAP. Its low resolution VGA junk. There is a reason it barely gets 2.5 stars on amazon reviews. There are much better options in this price range.
