I've currently got a range of IPCams scattered here and there at multiple locations, including Dahua 4300s, Panasonic BB-HCM581 (love this model), Ubiquiti, Linksys, etc etc
My primary work NVR is Blue Iris with mostly Dahuas on it. My boss wants to add an IPCam at his home to record the neighbor house across the street, both video AND audio. Apparently the police have paid them multiple visits. So I need a camera with decent outdoor audio recording capability. I'm not personally expecting much here, particularly for something under $200 or so. Any recommendations? A 1080p max res is fine, so 2mp is ok. I'll have to drop the data rate and framerate enough to make the datastream small enough for him to upload it over his home internet connection remotely to the Blue Iris NVR. As such, the audio would need to be encapsulated in the data stream, not a separate audio cable run back to a local machine.
I like the quality of the Dahua 4300 series for their price point, and that Huisun looks pretty cool, though not yet proven. Of course, I need audio recording here too.
So, any recommendations?
