need some advice for VPN/VLAN setup.

i had a question about VPN and VLAN for my nvr

my router is a nighthawk r7800 and i can setup a VPN to access my home network

the router is connected to a netgear managed switch (GSS108E)

i would like to create a VLAN for my NVR/Ip cameras,

the NVR is a Dahua 5216-4kS2, and i have an unmanaged POE switch for the cameras. the nvr and cameras will be connected to the switch and the switch uplink will be connected to the managed switch.

how can i setup my home network/VLAN so that i can connect through VPN to my NVR and remote view, through 192.168.x.x, on a mobile device app, while keeping my NVR/Cameras off the internet and that VLAN group from seeing the home network.

call me an idiot if i am doing something wrong because i truly am new to this sort of networking but i would appreciate any advice. thanks

after a quick look you router dose not support vlans (there are some posts on the netear forums that suggest this may/have changed ) so all though your switch can create vlans you have no way to route traffic across the vlans
