Need some help, need to know what to buy?

I'm working with a Lonnky right now, Amazon.com, trying to fill a shadow area on one side of my pick-up and fill more light toward the pop-up "garage". So far it doesn't seem to have the advertised spread but it does throw a lot of light, just a little too focused. Being able to dim it a little would be great. Maybe a little tape, translucent rather than clear, would dim and scatter it some more.

thats what I did with 2 of the 3 emitters on my 30 degree spot. about 6 layers of scotch 'magic' tape proved just enough to provide some fill light on the area where the trailer and car is parked while still throwing a ton of light in the narrow beam aimed at the driveway entrance from the untaped 3rd emitter. you can see a shadow from the car on the side of the trailer, thats this tape-scattered light.

I was using the IR in the 5442 and had shadows from it on other cameras out at 100 feet. That's why I decided to try another external. My place must be visible from space if you look using IR enabled glasses!
