Need some help setting up 2 hikvision cameras.

I have 2 cameras, a dome and a PTZ. The dome looks at an external door. The ptz looks at the gate. I want the ptz to go to the door from the gate if there is a line crossed/intrusion detection at the door. I have this working ok. The problem is that I want the ptz to go back to the gate after it has looked at the intrusion at the door for a while. I have tried to solve the problem by setting up a patrol where it stays at the door for 10 seconds and then at the gate for a long time. This patrol works ok, but when there is an intrusion at the door, the ptz moves from the gate to the door and stays at the door. It looks as though the intrusion stops the patrol.
Is there any way of getting the ptz to move back to its default position at the gate after the intrusion at the door??

According to this, you set only the tracking duration in the PTZ Smart Tracking config, without even enabling Smart Tracking and the rest of the settings are done in Event->Smart Event:
