I hate to be that guy but I need to get a system up and running sooner rather then later and there are way to many options.
Here is what I need:
3 (later a 4th) PTZ cameras 1080p
I live in a city so I need to be able to make out faces etc at 30 yards day and night
I would like a built in mic and alarm (not having these would not be a deal breaker tho)
These will be wired and I would like to use a PoE NVR
12tb Capacity. (Considering 2 6tb Western Digital Security HDD WD60PURX)
Auto tracking
Also would like something that uses H.265 unless there is a good reason to go with H.264 instead
My absolute budget for everything (I already have everything I need to make/run the cables) is $2500.
Would it be a good Idea to get motion activated flood lights either IR or standard for night time? Or would that cause issue with the cameras switching back to day vision and/or washing out the video when recording with night vision?
