Just for fun I, pointed one of my 2 MP Dahua Starlight PTZ at Neowise and Andromeda galaxy. Results were not bad with just a security camera.

Comet in early morning shows up quite nicely.

Andromeda galaxy was done at night. The galactic center is the bright, smudgey thing in the center. Camera isn't sensitive enough to pick up the galactic halo, but heck. This is just a PTZ camera, not a telescope.

IR illuminator was turned off and focus set to manual to enable these picts.

Holy macro, I thought those were dust particles on the camera's lens cover. I had something similar prior to fourth of July. The frame likely consisted of stars and planets. I might need to manually point that PTZ occasionally just to see if I can make out any constellations
