Ok, here's both the 5231R-Z and the SV3C with no auxiliary IR sources. The internal IR of the SV3C is on and if I shut it down, it's just a black frame. The 5231R internal IR is off and the scene is lit by ambient available light only. I can't shut off the post light, conveniently since it's solar, or the street lights, unless I break out the .22, but I think you can plainly see the difference in quality. Keep in mind that the ground is snow covered and that helps, especially with the SV3C. Normally, if the ground isn't snow covered, you can't really see that last shed.
