Hooked a monitor and cam to nvr and fired it up to test. Works great. My problem is with all the configurations of the nvr. I've read the manual and it explains what each function does, but, being new to this, I don't know how most of these should be set.
Remote location. No internet, so no router used. Once a week I want to connect my laptop to the nvr and offload any footage from the hd. (2TB)
Here's what I need: Cams > nvr > record motion only. I'm not sure how to configure the nvr for this scenario.
