sadp-tool1.jpg Hi,

I'm trying to install my new camera, a Hikvision DS-I430.

When I start SADP (v3.0.14) on my Computer (Win 10), I can see my camera is active (see picture).

Then I want to enable DHCP on the right side. I click on the checkbox, fill the admin password and click on the modify-Button. Nothing happens. After several seconds, there is a small window with "time-out".

What can I do now?
I also cannot connect with a browser. My LAN network is 192.168.178.xx.
But I cannot reach the given 192.168.1.64 - ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT in Chrome.

Thank you very much for your advice.

That's a different address range than the default IP address of 192.168.1.64 that SADP is showing for the camera.
The browser will only connect to devices within the range the PC is using.

You could change the IP address of the PC to be in that range - but the easiest and best thing to do is to use SADP to change the IP address of the camera to be in the range of your LAN.
You've 'activated' the camera, so you know what password you set. This is needed to change the IP address.
Just change the camera IP address to your choice in 192.168.178.x and set the default gateway to the IP address of your LAN router.
Once you've done that - the browser will connect to the camera.
